Trauma and Grief Therapy for queer, trans, and non-binary people, and anyone who wants to feel less dread and more hope
Individual, Couples, and Group Therapy
In-Person Therapy in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles and Online Therapy across the State of California
Hi! I’m Chris.
I’m here to help you slow down and feel grounded before life gets more overwhelming.
I help people who feel the pressure from loved ones, work, organizations, and even themselves to keep pushing past their limits and showing up for others, even as navigate the trenches of their own loss and trauma. All so that they can be seen as and feel good, perfect, helpful, and successful. They find themselves more tired, resentful, and reactive than usual. They want to be more tender and know something needs to change before they burn out.
As a queer Filipino American therapist, I support you to move towards healing and liberation from old stories, unhelpful patterns, and the things that keep you from living a life filled with rest, creativity, and community. It’s possible to learn how to care for yourself while caring for others, in a way that feels sustainable, compassionate, and meaningful.
I believe therapy can be most helpful when your identities, values, and culture are understood in the context of your lived experiences and the communities you are part of. The unique ways in which you’ve been socialized in this world inform what pathways can lead to healing and relief. Together, we’ll slow down to gain clarity about who you are as a person and how you navigate this world, so that we can develop goals and implement practices that are tailored to you.
