You’ve been strong for everyone else, it’s time to come back to yourself.
IFS Therapy for grief, trauma, and identity for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC adults and couples in Los Angeles and online across California
You love the people in you’re life deeply, but you’re running on empty.
You love being helpful, but you've started to resent how much of yourself it asks for. You love your community, but you carry the weight of their struggles alongside your own. You love the people closest to you, but somewhere along the way who you are with them and who you are when you’re alone feels so different.
You've learned to keep moving. To process on the go, to hold it together, to be the one who shows up. But lately, it feels like you're performing a version of yourself that's getting harder to maintain. You know something needs to change. You feel stuck. Over time, in our work together, you learn to stop fighting yourself and start leading from within. With confidence, curiosity, and creativity.
CHRIS DATILES (HE/HIM)
IFS THERAPIST • LOS ANGELES, CACarrying too much for too long, you deserve support.
My work is for people who are thoughtful, feel deeply, and are exhausted by the distance between how they show up for the world, and how the world shows up for them.
They're educators, artists, healthcare workers, and organizers who give generously, and often don't know how to receive. They've survived losses that changed them. They show up for everyone else, but struggle to show up for themselves without guilt.
As a queer Filipino therapist who has navigated grief through suicide loss, cancer, and the weight of generational silence, I don't approach pain as a problem to be managed. I approach it as something that deserves to be witnessed and transformed.
