This is your space to let go of the pain you carry.

It can be hard to find the time to slow down in a world that demands more from us each day. Sometimes it feels impossible to tend to the trauma you want to heal from, the grief that needs to be witnessed, and the beliefs about yourself and others that you want to unlearn.

Therapy with me is a space where you'll learn how to pause and slow down. A space where you can tend to what matters and begin to feel more connected to yourself, your creativity, and your relationships.

I help adults feel less overwhelmed and more equipped to navigate:

  • Losing a loved one unexpectedly to suicide, an accident, or medical emergency can leave a person feeling a mix of emotions such as shock, anger, sadness, and guilt.

Through Individual Therapy for Traumatic Loss, my clients share that they are able to:

    • Freely express their grief on their own terms and at their own pace

    • Engage in coping skills and practices that help them balance honoring their loss and adapting to life as it is now

    • Find ways to integrate the memory and life of their loved one into their current life

  • Whether it's advanced cancer, dementia, or aging you're dreading the day your loved one is no longer with you. The period of anticipating a loss can cause exhaustion, confusion, shock, and inner-conflict.

Through Individual Therapy for Anticipated Loss and End-of-Life, my clients share that they are able to:

    • Better understand how they want to navigate a "long goodbye" where they might have brief opportunities for connection as their loved one's personality, memory, and physical capacities fade away over time

    • Engage in coping skills and practices that help them navigate what it means to engage in tasks of daily life while mourning the the loss of a loved one who will pass soon

    • Establish a community of support. One that helps them feel less isolated and provides respite.

  • To be able to show up as our whole selves is gift in a world that continues to marginalize and enact violence on queer, trans, and non-binary people. It can also raise concerns of how to feel safe, find a sense of belonging, and how to feel at home within yourself.

Through LGBTQIA+ Affirming Individual Therapy, my clients share that they are able to:

    • Stop comparing themselves to others’ experiences with coming out and identity exploration, and identify how they want to navigate their own experience

    • Feel more at home and a sense of belonging within themselves and others

    • Tend to the parts of themselves that carry fear and worry

  • When families and communities are impacted by war, displacement, marginalization, and systemic oppression our ancestors and people found ways to survive and cope with trauma. This can have an influence on a person's emotional landscape and the way they protect themselves from harm, find safety, and navigate relationships.

Through Individual Therapy for Intergenerational Trauma and Collective Trauma, my clients share that they are able to:

    • Identify the patterns and roles they had to take on to survive, and to shift into new behaviors and roles that help them feel a sense of safety and confidence

    • Break cycles that have caused harm to themselves and the communities they come from

    • Explore and understand how legacies of oppression have impacted the mental health and well-being of their family and community
